The new Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are now in full effect.
The new Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are required for new registrations. Contingent on feedback, they will also take effect for current players on November 1, 2018.

Hi,
Due to GDPR becoming Norwegian law, Viking MUD dearly needs terms and conditions, as well as a privacy policy, that are in line with the law.
This means that soon, there will be a Service Agreement with Terms and Conditions for Viking MUD's services, as well as a Privacy Policy.
I have tried to compile the necessary documents, in agreement with the Administration, and now we present these to you, the players, so that you may read them and provide feedback.
Please give feedback before the end of the day of August 21, 2018.

Today's upgrade appears to have gone well. Yay.
There will be some additional downtime at MUD reboot today, due to a system upgrade that requires a system reboot. Please expect 15-60 minutes extra downtime.
The upgrade went well, and downtime was around 35 minutes.
