Samurai learn abilities as both mortals and as eternals. The mortal Samurai may see his or her abilities using the command mpower and may learn more about those abilities by using mhelp <ability>. To see the titles for mortal Samurai, use the command mtitle. The eternal Samurai may use epower, ehelp <ability>, and etitle in a similar way. A list of all Samurai logged on can be obtained using the command samurai. Samurai have four skills. To see your skills, use the command skills. The skills are in the areas of slashing, chopping, mental discipline, and sword sharpening. These skills determine to what degree of potency and success you can use the abilities of the Samurai. They can be improved in the Guild. Certain abilities require a minimum experience level and a minimum skill level. However, if the minimum experience level is possessed, but not the minimum skill level, a Samurai may still attempt to use the ability in question, but with a greatly reduced chance of success. Samurai also have the possibility of training and practising two weapon skill in the Guild.
