RC5

There are several MUDs participating in distributed.net stab at the RC5-64 challenge from RSA Labs, of which Viking has done the most blocks, and Viking continues to do better than all other muds almost every day.

The image below shows the increase in cracked blocks since early October 1999.

The images below shows the average daily keyrate and the average weekly keyrate of the top four muds since early October 1999. Notice that VikingMUD generally has the highest rate. There's one caveat though; unlike distributed.net, we calculate in the keys denoted to team VikingMUD. That explains for instance the high peak of Nov 14, 1999. (The peak of early December 1999 is due to distributed.net long period of having problems with the statistics).

The image below shows the amount of contributed blocks over time from the people who contributed yesterday.

However, due to a small number of people cracking many blocks, lots of detail is lost. The following image gives an overview of people who have contributed less than 250 thousand blocks; and the graph only goes back to the date the team was formed.
